How to Choose the Perfect Boat for You

There is no single best boat, but there is the one that best suits the way you want to spend your day. Here are some questions to ask yourself before choosing.

How many people are you? For a couple or a small group, a compact and agile boat may be all you need. For families or larger groups, you’ll need more space, shade, and comfort.

What kind of experience are you looking for? If you love speed and convenience, a motorboat is the natural choice. If you prefer a slower pace, silence, and the pleasure of sailing with the wind, sailing is a whole different experience.

How much experience do you have? If you’re new to boating, you can rent a boat with a skipper or choose one that is easy to operate. If you’re already experienced, you’ll have more freedom.

Where do you want to go? For lagoons and shallow waters, boats with a shallow draft are the best option. For more open waters, you’ll need greater stability and power.

Comfort matters. Sunbathing areas, a bimini for shade, a dining area, and an onboard bathroom can make a big difference, especially when travelling with children or during the hottest hours of the day.

Your budget. Consider the rental cost, fuel, a possible skipper, and the security deposit. It’s always better to know everything in advance, so there are no surprises.
